Fellow alumni and their family members gathered at Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild (SPGG) for an electrifying Cosmic Bowling Competition on 28 July 2023. Cosmic Bowling is not your ordinary bowling affair. It typically, thrives in the realm of vibrant neon lights, casting an illuminating glow on the lanes, pins, and balls.

The atmosphere is lively and energetic, with upbeat music playing in the background, setting the stage for an exhilarating experience. Our guest-of-honour, Professor Tan Tai Yong, SUSS President, got the ball rolling with the first bowl, inaugurating the competition.

However, it was not a walk in the park for all as the neon lights and dim environment increased the difficulty of play. Despite the challenges, everyone remained in high spirits with smiles and laughter filling the evening. Participants shared that they enjoyed themselves thoroughly an ambiance of shared enjoyment elevated the experience, leaving everyone elated.

As the night drew to a close, Mr. Jerome Wee, Class of 2020 and Ms. Lam Chun May, Class of 2014, emerged as the top male and female bowlers, respectively.
