SUSS coming together, for the better!
This year’s Giving Day featured 24 engaging challenges, 858 donations, and a notable Charity Golf event, which collectively raised an impressive $560,000. These funds will go a long way in supporting various initiatives and causes championed by the university.
Alumni Relations’ challenge this year was Get TogethAR, which successfully raised $1,860 for the Alumni Lifelong Learning Fund. This initiative highlights the university’s commitment to supporting part-time graduates who face financial difficulties while pursuing further education. The funds raised will assist these graduates in continuing their lifelong learning journeys, thereby enhancing their ability to contribute positively to their families, workplaces, and society.
Theencouraging support from alumni for Get TogethAR was an affirmation of their belief in the cause. This challenge showcased the strong sense of community within the SUSS network, as participants rallied together to make a meaningful impact.
Alongside Alumni Relations, 2 of our alumni, Mohammed Fayeruz Bin Surahman and Adnan Bin Ghazali, gathered to participate in their own Better Together Challenges. Mohammed Fayeruz’s campaign is still on-going. Do support your fellow alumnus in his attempt at doing good!
