For all the music lovers and sentimental souls for all things personalised, they were surely in for a treat during the recent Musical Box Workshop! Organised by SUSS Alumni Relations in collaboration with Okdodoo, 16 participants attended this workshop at the end of 2022.
Participants were able to customize their choice of music and theme for their musical box, and were even able to choose different ornaments supplied by the instructors as well. This made each music box unique and personalised. What struck me was how patient the instructors were, as they provided guidance on how to position the ornaments to “elevate” each music box. There was also a brief history of music boxes at the start of the session before everyone became engrossed with perfecting their craft, and admiring their completed work at the end of the workshop.
The workshop was simple enough for even kids to follow, making it an enjoyable bonding activity for family and friends (or to make new ones too!) For more of such fun activities, stay tuned to SUSS social media pages for more updates and we hope to see you for future events.
